Who we are

What is Havenhaus?

Havenhaus is a small, emerging non-profit project based in and around Wolfville, Nova Scotia. We focus on community, simple living, and practical help. We’re not currently a registered charity and are not yet able to issue charitable tax receipts.

Many hands make light work

We’re here to back local community builders and neighbours who are already doing good work but may be short on time, money, or hands. The aim is to help build the kind of communities the world needs right now: modest projects, shared spaces, and a bit of extra support so people don’t have to carry everything alone.

Dylan’s role

Dylan has been doing on-the-ground work in and around Wolfville since early September 2025, offering steady unpaid help. As things develop, he hopes to gather a small circle of volunteers who can offer their time and skills to local farms, families, and small community projects.

Our Mission

Our mission is to support neighbours and community builders in and around Wolfville through small, practical grants-through fundraising and coordinated hands-on help, so local projects can move forward and people can stay rooted in the place they care about.

 

We aim to do this by raising funds and offering labour for modest projects, shared spaces, and a small community of people who show up for local farms, families, and community spaces when it actually matters.
